  U2’s Vertigo

  This song is all over the radio these days, and it only occurred to me very recently that the spoken-vocal part is a bit strange.

  Sayeth the Bono:

  Uno, dos, tres… catorce!

  Must be the vertigo.

  (And in truth, the rest of the song does kinda reinforce this dizzy, montage-type of lyric … so I guess it was done on purpose.)

     Oh yes, i wondered that too when i first heard the song. If Bono can’t count, then we really ought to hep him out in that quest to erase 3rd world debt. Ah but the guy can sing!
